National Cadet Corps

The formation of the National Cadet Corps in 1948 was perhaps the most significant event for the student community of India. Over the last 76 years of its existence, the National Cadet Corps has developed itself into the largest uniformed youth organization in the world. Crossing all boundaries of caste, creed, gender and society, it sticks to its principles of unity and discipline.

Objectives of NCC

The objectives of NCC include promoting discipline, patriotism, and a spirit of adventure among students. The NCC also aims to instil unity and national integration values while fostering a sense of social responsibility. By providing training in areas such as leadership, self-defence, and disaster management, the NCC equips students with valuable skills that can benefit them in their future endeavors. Furthermore, the NCC encourages students to actively engage in community service activities to contribute to society's betterment.

Activities of NCC

The NCC organises various activities, such as workshops, seminars, and community service projects, to help students grow personally and professionally. The NCC also offers opportunities for students to participate in national-level competitions and represent their college on a larger scale.
